CAM geologists, geostatisticians, environmental and social specialists, and engineers work closely and effectively as a team on specific projects for timely, cost-effective results. This approach allows for flexibility and rapid changes during a project to accommodate changing corporate, economic, and/or site-specific requirements. Through its senior staff, CAM also offers management and organizational consulting covering all facets of the mineral resources industry, from the restructuring of private and government-owned companies to cost and efficiency reviews for specific operations. To provide the best available expertise on every project, CAM may contract with additional senior specialists on an as- needed basis.

Michael J. Read

Principal

Education: B.S., SME Registered Member
Experience/Specialties: 35+ years. Extensive experience in open pit mining on projects throughout the world having participated in feasibility studies, reserve audits, due diligence reviews and functioned as project manager and/or principal open pit mine reviewer on many Independent Engineer reviews. Mr. Read has served as a Qualified Person in the preparation of reserves used to satisfy requirements for the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 policy and U.S. Security and Exchange filing requirements.

Matthew P. Reilly

Principal

Education: B.S., P.E.
Experience/Specialties: 35+ years. Extensive engineering, operations, construction, budgeting, management, and consulting experience in the copper, gold, and coal mining industries. Mr. Reilly is experienced in all aspects of project financing due diligence reviews, and specializes in evaluations of proposed infrastructure, civil designs, construction plans, logistics, transportation, safety and risk management systems, and operating and capital cost estimates. His recent Independent Engineer assignments include the Copper Mountain, Pueblo Viejo, Cobre Panamá, Sierra Gorda, Ambatovy, and Oyu Tolgoi projects.

Fred R. Banta

Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Experience/Specialties: 40+ years. Extensive experience in natural resources, environmental and social management, primarily in the mining industry. In the late 1980s and early 1990s Mr. Banta was concurrently the Director of the State of Colorado’s Mined Land Reclamation Division and the Colorado Division of Mines. He also directed environmental programs for Steffen Robertson and Kirsten and Lac Minerals, Ltd, and was the Director of Environmental Affairs for Amax Gold, Inc. Since 1998 he has provided independent environmental and social services to several clients in the mining industry. His experience includes projects in Europe, Africa, South and Central America, the Dominican Republic, Russia, Canada, and the United States. Mr. Banta also has provided audit review and technical support to the International Cyanide Management Institute.

Craig Bow

Senior Geologist

Education: B.S., Ph.D., CPG
Experience/Specialties: 35+ years. Extensive experience in exploration and mineral evaluation on all continents, with emphasis on the Americas. Dr. Bow has conducted over 100 evaluations of major mineral projects. These have included involvement in technical diligence for project financing and acquisitions, reserve audits, and general project reviews to develop efficient exploration programs. His expertise and special interest include copper, gold, silver-lead-zinc, and magmatic nickel-copper-PGE deposits. He has participated in the geological analysis of advanced projects seeking bank and/or ECA financing, including porphyry-copper (gold) projects as well as other metals. Dr. Bow also serves as a Qualified Person geologist in preparation of numerous resource and reserve reports used to satisfy requirements for the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 policy and U.S. Security and Exchange filing requirements. Fluent in Spanish.

Kenneth L. Meyer

Senior Facility Design, Construction and Infrastructure Engineer

Education: B.S., M.S.
Experience/Specialties: 40+ years. Domestic and international experience in the design, construction, and operation of industrial production facilities and associated infrastructure. Mr. Meyer is experienced in design, application, and operation of mechanical and electrical equipment; piping design; process control engineering; and civil/structural engineering. He has been the principal facilities engineering, construction and infrastructure reviewer for Ambatovy, Tenke-Fungurume, Kouilou, Cerro Corona, Cerro Verde, Anatolia, Ahafo, Veladero, Batu Hijau, Antamina, Los Pelambres, San Cristobal, Bulyanhulu, and principal designer for feasibility studies on Golden Queen, Rosia Montana, Wassa Satellite Goldfields, and Esquel in Argentina. Mr. Meyer has extensive foreign experience in Europe, Middle East, Persian Gulf, Asia, and South America. Fluent in Italian.

Steve L. Milne

Senior Underground Mine Engineer

Education: B.S., P.E.
Experience/Specialties: 40+ years. Diversified experience in the management, design, evaluation, and operation of mining properties worldwide. Mr. Milne specializes in the design and evaluation of underground mines and facilities. He has experience with all underground mining methods including: block caving; sublevel caving; panel caving; blast hole stoping; shrinkage stoping; mechanized/conventional cut and fill; and room and pillar. Fluent in Spanish.

R. Stanley Rickard

Senior Metallurgical Engineer

Education: B.S., M.S., Ph.D., P.E.
Experience/Specialties: 40+ years. Experienced in metallurgical process research, development, engineering and operations. Dr. Rickard’s expertise is in the management, the development and implementation of metallurgical process including physical beneficiation and hydrometallurgy. Has a strong technical background as well as practical experience in plant construction and operations.

James R. Swaisgood

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Education: B.S., P.E.
Experience/Specialties: 45+ years. A wide range of geological and civil engineering experience, particularly in projects involving water storage and tailings dams, underground openings, ground behavior, slope stability and seismic analyses. Mr. Swaisgood’s has extensive experience in design, construction, and evaluation of tailings impoundments, dams and reservoirs on projects throughout the world.
